Test Automation Specialist

Talent Acquisition Manager - North America and Singapore Must have: Java, Groovy, AWS, S3, Glue and automation experience.

Role & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

automation frameworks

for web, API, and backend testing.

Write and execute

automated test scripts

using

Java

and

Groovy .

Perform

API testing

using RESTful services and validate responses.

Develop and maintain

SQL queries

for data validation and backend testing.

Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test requirements and ensure coverage.

Integrate automated tests into

CI/CD pipelines

using tools like

GitLab

and Jenkins.

Analyze test results, report defects, and ensure timely resolution.

Stay updated with emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in test automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong programming skills in

Java

and

Groovy .

Hands‑on experience with

automation frameworks

(e.g., SPOCK, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).

Proficiency in

REST API testing

and tools like Postman or RestAssured.

Solid understanding of

SQL

for database validation.

Strong knowledge of

software testing principles , methodologies, and best practices.

Experience with

CI/CD tools

such as

GitLab , Jenkins, Git, Maven.

Familiarity with

Agile/Scrum

development processes.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
