Description
Design parts and assemblies for various product lines (valves, hydraulic assemblies, and actuators).
Generate manufacturing drawings for parts and determine manufacturing processes, specifying tolerances.
Create schematic and assembly drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Develop engineering solutions and proposal documentation for RFQs and RFIs.
Collaborate with the analysis team on parts or assemblies that require FEA or CFD.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
10-15+ years of Mechanical Design experience.
Knowledge and experience in industrial and machine design.
Lead roles in product development, implementing engineering processes (DFMA, DMAIC, FMEA, tolerance stack‑up analysis).
Understanding of manufacturing processes (casting, machining, grinding, lapping, additive manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, etc.).
Proficiency in CAD modeling using SolidWorks.
Proficiency in GD&T and related standards for drawing creation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for layout and schematics (plus).
Familiarity with nuclear industry standards (ASME, ANSI, API, IEEE, etc.) (plus).
Familiarity with industrial hydraulics and electrical equipment (plus).
Experience Level Intermediate Level
Job Type & Location Permanent position based out of Brea, CA.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $130,000.00/yr.
