Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine
Join a dedicated team at a facility located in West Branch, Michigan, approximately 56 miles from McLaren Bay Hospital. This modern emergency department operates with a full ED staff and has an annual ER volume of around 9,000 visits, providing an opportunity to make a significant impact in the local community.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide emergency care for approximately 30 patients per day.
- Participate in the supervision of ED staff.
- Utilize Cerner EHR for patient documentation.
- Respond to medical emergencies, treating a variety of acute conditions.
- Engage in fast track services within the ED as needed.
- Collaborate with hospitalists for patient admissions and transfers.
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (No BE; open to IM/FM with 2+ years of recent EM experience).
- Active Michigan Medical License required, no exceptions.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications.
- Must have a clean background for quick credentialing.
- Local providers preferred; no exceptions.
- Board Certification (Emergency Medicine)
- Valid Michigan Medical License
