Position Summary As the Field Service Technician, you are responsible for providing exceptional service to clients by performing scheduled pond and equipment maintenance, resolving technical issues, and enhancing the overall customer experience. This role involves hands‑on work with pond systems, including filtration, pump, aeration, and plumbing systems, while maintaining a professional, customer‑focused approach. This role requires a detail‑oriented, proactive individual with strong technical and customer service skills to ensure each service call exceeds customer expectations.
Responsibilities
Complete daily scheduled service appointments promptly and efficiently
Address customer concerns and questions regarding their pond, equipment, and fish during on‑site visits
Recommend additional products and services to enhance the customer’s enjoyment and care of their pond
Document customer interactions and follow‑up actions on the same day as service appointments, creating invoices in the field using a company‑provided tablet
Install, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with pond systems, including various filtration, pump, aeration systems, and plumbing lines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle
Manage and track vehicle inventory to ensure all necessary tools and materials are available
Prepare for service appointments at least three days in advance, ensuring all required resources are ready
Maintain open communication with the Service Department to address scheduling, inventory, and job‑related questions
Collaborate with the Senior Field Technician for technical guidance and support on pond‑related issues
Support overall warehouse upkeep, playing a crucial role in completing building projects, plumbing tasks, and other maintenance duties within the warehouse
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in the Technical Service, Construction, Landscaping, Maintenance or related industries - Required
Basic computer skills, with the ability to navigate an iPad or similar device in the field for submission of customer information - Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent - Required
Capability to lift between 30 to 60 lbs, that include bending, continuous lifting, lowering, and carrying items - Required
Ability to work outdoors in challenging weather conditions, such as heat, cold, and rain, for parts of the job - Required
Familiarity with ponds, aquariums, aquatic plants or fish - a plus!
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record - Required
Available for varied weekly shifts including weekends, holidays, and high peak seasons (From March to August) - Required
Demonstrated record of punctuality and attendance, ensuring a positive and professional demeanor. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, friendly, and focused on safety and procedures with the ability to carry out job responsibilities in a high‑volume, fast‑paced setting
Bilingual (Spanish) ability - a plus!

Full‑Time | Starting at $20.00/hr
Schedule
Monday‑Friday, 7AM - 5PM
