Join Beth Israel Lahey Health as an Embedded Behavioral Health Clinician in our Jamaica Plain Primary Care Practice.
Schedule:
Part‑time, 24 hrs/week (Mon‑Fri daytime)
Sign‑On Bonus:
Up to $3,000, prorated for part‑time
Location:
Jamaica Plain, MA
Pay Range:
$46,937 – $57,220 USD annually
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments using medical records and direct evaluation to identify mental health and substance‑use needs.
Provide evidence‑based brief therapy (CBT, MI, Problem‑Solving, Supportive, Behavioral Activation, Psycho‑Education).
Collaborate with primary care providers to design and implement personalized behavioral health treatment plans.
Administer screenings and appropriate referral, ensuring timely coordination with community resources.
Develop and deliver educational sessions on behavioral health and substance‑use topics for staff and providers.
Maintain accurate documentation within required timeframes and in compliance with organizational policies.
Stay current with insurance and reimbursement standards for commercial plans and MassHealth products.
Participate in regular supervision sessions for case consultation and professional growth.
Nurture professional relationships with physicians, patients, external providers, and regulatory bodies.
Uphold confidentiality and privacy regulations with patient information.
Qualifications & Skills
Master’s degree in Social Work or a related Human Service discipline.
Current, unrestricted Massachusetts license as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
Highly preferred: Spanish speaking; bilingual proficiency required.
Experience working within a multidisciplinary primary care team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self‑directed, flexible, and capable of managing time independently.
Passion for patient‑centered care and making a positive impact.
Solid understanding of brief, evidence‑based therapeutic modalities.
