Performs a variety of sonographic examinations, including OB/GYN, abdominal, and small parts. Responsibilities also include assisting the radiologist during invasive procedures, performing abdominal Doppler studies of the liver and liver transplants, conducting Nuchal Translucency studies, neonatal cranial exams, and others. One additional certification—Breast, Vascular, Neurosonography, MSK, Pediatrics, Fetal Echo, Nuchal Translucency or Neonatal specialty—is required to attain Senior Sonographer status. The candidate makes clinical judgments of the patient's condition based on information from the referring physician, medical records, patient interview, and personal assessments. Required Qualifications

Coursework/Training and successful completion of ultrasound training program; education sufficient to meet eligibility for the American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination. Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Sonography or National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. Two years of experience as a sonographer. Benefits

Pay Range: $56.58 – $86.82 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. We prefer candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences or a related field and who have graduated from an accredited sonography program.
