Status: Full-Time, Night 12 Hour Shift / Rotating Weekend

Overview The Clinical Supervisor supports administrative responsibility for the department service functions and works collaboratively with the unit Director and/or Manager. In the absence of the unit Director and/or Manager, the Clinical Supervisor may assume the administrative scope of the unit assigned. Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current federal and state regulations. The Clinical Supervisor prepares, conducts and/or oversees department orientation and training of personnel. Communicates with staff, physicians, and administration both written and verbally. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible and accountable for the quality of staff and functions during their shift, assists the Department Director in the daily operation of the unit, directs, supervises, and evaluates personnel, ensuring the proper use of time, equipment, and staff. Ensures efficient functions of the department. Performs direct patient care as needed within scope of practice and continually assesses care, directing staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care.

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN license

Current BLS upon hire and maintain current

Current ACLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

RN-C within 2 years of hire preferred

PALS within 30 days of hire for units that admit pediatric patients

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $36.75 to $55.70 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, based on skill set, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
