Introduction
Our client is a full-service animal hospital in Rancho Cucamonga, California, seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Serving dogs, cats, small mammals, and reptiles, the practice is dedicated to delivering high-quality, up-to-date veterinary care while maintaining a strong commitment to compassionate service and community relationships. The hospital is also AAHA Accredited.
Working Hours / Rota The hospital operates Monday through Saturday. This is a full-time position, with a schedule that ensures comprehensive coverage throughout the week while supporting a collaborative and client-focused work environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide a wide range of medical, dental, surgical, and preventive care for companion animals, including some exotic species. Responsibilities include prioritizing urgent cases, managing caseloads efficiently, and maintaining accurate records using SOAP templates for treatment plans and recommendations. The veterinarian will also educate clients on preventive care such as vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and flea and tick control, while building strong client relationships and fostering trust within the local community. This role requires a commitment to teamwork, clinical excellence, and client service.
Practice Details The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, dental X‑rays, ultrasound, and an in‑house laboratory, ensuring advanced diagnostic capabilities. Services offered include medical care, wellness and vaccination programs, surgery, preventive services, exotic pet medicine, and health screening tests.
Team The hospital is staffed by four DVMs supported by a skilled team of veterinary professionals. The culture is collaborative, team‑oriented, and focused on providing high‑quality care while fostering professional growth and client trust.
Candidate Requirements
Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain a state license for the state they are applying to work in
Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
Package Salary up to $185,000 (Annual)
$140k‑$185k Base Salary + Production
