Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry 2A (32 hours, 3p-11p)
Location : Boston Medical Center (BMC)
Department : Med/Surg – Cardiac Telemetry
Schedule : 32 Hours, 3p-11p, Every Other Weekend
Responsibilities The Registered Nurse provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly, individualized to a variety of needs including hearing, sight, substance abuse, non‑English speaking, and potential victims of abuse. The RN incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, our mission, vision, and values into nursing practice. The RN assumes full responsibility for quality of nursing care, including health maintenance, teaching, counseling, collaborative planning, and restoration of optimal functioning or dignified death. The RN may delegate nursing acuities within parameters, bearing responsibility for patient outcomes. The RN must have excellent assessment, clinical, organizational skills, computer knowledge, charge capabilities, and the ability to lift, transfer, and move patients. The RN must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English and perform required mathematical calculations for treatment protocols.
Requirements
Education: Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); ability to obtain BSN within 4 years required.
License/Certifications: Current RN MA license, BLS + ACLS required.
Experience: 1–2 years of acute Med/Surg experience strongly preferred in a hospital setting.
Compensation $38.10 – $77.63 per hour. Base pay is comprehensive, considering education, experience, licensure/certifications.
