We are seeking an experienced Senior Vice President, Senior Counsel to join a leading financial services organization's legal team supporting Corporate Treasury and Secondary Marketing (Capital Markets). This is a high-impact, executive-level role focused on complex financing transactions and mortgage banking operations.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate transaction documents for financing arrangements secured by mortgage-related assets (loans, servicing advances, securities, participation interests, servicing rights)
Provide legal support for warehouse lending, repurchase transactions, participation structures, syndicated facilities, and securitization
Advise on correspondent lending activity and treasury operations
Collaborate with senior and executive management on strategic initiatives
Ideal Candidate
7+ years of experience in mortgage banking, structured finance, warehouse lending, and securitization
Background in BigLaw finance practice or in-house at a mortgage banking or capital markets competitor
Licensed to practice law in state where candidate is seated
Strong business acumen and ability to manage complex transactions
Location Fully onsite (preferred) with flexibility for candidates; ability to sit in Westlake Village, CA; Cary, NC; St. Louis, MO; Tampa, FL; Carrollton, TX; Atlanta, GA. Relocation assistance available. Travel: ~3 days/month for team development.
Compensation $200K-$240K base + bonus + equity. Executive benefits package included.
