Base pay range $50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
We are seeking the ideal candidate for our Property Damage Subrogation Specialist opening for our growing insurance company. The PD Subrogation Specialist will handle and resolve all auto property damage subrogation claims. Must be able to determine, develop, and negotiate the theory of liability with Third Party carriers, attorneys, and uninsured motorists, and resolve files in accordance with company objectives and applicable state regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Review evidence required supporting property damage subrogation activity on claims in accordance with policy contract, corporate claims policy, and state regulations
Contact appropriate parties, insurance carriers, and attorneys to negotiate settlements in compliance with company objectives and applicable state regulations
Evaluate all counter claims that present themselves and review with Claims management
Review settlement offers with Claims management to ensure they are in compliance with company objectives and applicable state regulations
Achieve/maintain company goals
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of auto insurance company subrogation experience
Knowledge of liability law
Good interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
Ability to pass written examinations where required by state statutes to become a licensed claims adjuster
Ability to work on an online computer-based claims system
Preferred
College degree
