We are pleased to offer the current job opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator position in the Animal Services Department. DuPage County Animal Services (DCAS) is an immediate open admission shelter caring for more than 2,300 animals of varying species annually.

Researches, develops and builds a broad awareness of the Animal Services activities that promotes a culture of philanthropy, education, and positive relations

Develops and maintains community awareness and positive public image for DuPage County Animal Services

Prepares print and digital marketing collateral; ensures consistent branding of materials

Develops Animal Services website content and performs regular maintenance and updates

Create and maintain robust libraries of Animal Services success stories, photos, videos and press releases

Communicates and distributes information on available services and programs

Manages social media accounts and other marketing content creators

Develops and implements marketing goals, strategies, and content calendars

Captures high‑quality photos and videos at the shelter and offsite events, editing content as needed

Work with the leadership team to determine and execute marketing needs for key initiatives

Analyzes and reports on marketing performance metrics

Responds to questions and concerns from the public and stakeholders

Provides support and direction to Animal Services volunteers

Implements digital marketing strategy into content

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Adjusts work assignment or schedule in the event of an emergency to participate in emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities as assigned

Performs related duties as required or assigned within job classification

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Requirements include the following experience or equivalent combination of training and experience:

Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field

One (1) year of experience in videography and photography

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess and maintain in good standing, a valid Illinois driver’s license.
