Location: Calvert, KY 42029, United States
Property: Marshall Yards Racing (commencing shortly). Facility includes approximately 240 state‑of‑the‑art historical racing machines (HRMs), a sports bar, a retail sportsbook, simulcast wagering, and food and beverage offerings.

Job Summary The Security Lead Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons, employees, and company assets. This individual will also provide strategic input and assist with planning the shift.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
Delegate duties and assign responsibilities to staff.
Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints, compiling data for accurate reporting.
Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and monitored during the shift.
Answer incoming calls to the facility and direct calls or answer patron questions.
Operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that requires a valid driver’s license.
Train other security officers in the performance of duties.
In the absence of Security Management, schedule other security officers on their assigned shift.
Control access to restricted areas.
React to patron and employee incidents and accidents.
Monitor patron and employee passage in and out of the facility.
Check for and report safety hazards.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills And Abilities
Maintain interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
Oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.
Must be able to work an alternate schedule with a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice.
Education And Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
1–2 years of security officer experience is required.

The employee is required to circulate throughout the assigned areas, including the smoking area, actively observing players and the functioning of machines.
