What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist Relationship Managers in analyzing financial statements and preparing credit approval packages
Monitor financial trends and borrower creditworthiness to identify potential credit risks
Collaborate with sales and credit teams to structure deals and address underwriting inquiries
Stay informed on market trends and credit policies to strengthen expertise in commercial lending
Perform special projects and additional duties as required while maintaining compliance with regulations
What is Required (Qualifications)
Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field or 5+ years of equivalent experience
Minimum 2+ years in credit underwriting, portfolio management, or a related field
Strong financial analysis and risk assessment abilities
Basic understanding of loan structuring and credit agreements
Proficiency in financial modeling and credit decision tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP
Experience with credit analysis software and tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
Willingness to stay informed on industry trends and apply new knowledge to underwriting and portfolio management
