Sr Financial Systems Engineer (Workday)

This role will be the lead technical expert and own all integrations for Workday Financials and related matters. The Senior Financial Systems Engineer will partner closely with various stakeholders to research, design, build, maintain, and scale integrations between Workday and other systems. The ideal candidate will have high fluency in both functional and technical discussions and a curiosity to seek continuous improvement.
Posting type: Remote/Hybrid. Remote-based with travel flexibility.
Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of Workday integration development and maintenance
Monitor, triage, and resolve issues performing detailed root‑cause analyses while effectively communicating with impacted parties
Identify process improvements and opportunities and act on them quickly
Collaborate closely with third‑party resources and stay up to date on releases and new feature enhancements
Champion innovation and automation through AI and other intelligent solutions
Create clear and concise documentation (e.g., technical design, data lifecycle, unit testing)
Ensure compliance controls satisfy audit and SOX requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of hands‑on experience with Workday Studio, RaaS integrations, BIRT, EIB, complex calculated fields, XSLT, etc.
Strong working knowledge of APIs, enterprise application development platforms, and web services (SOAP, REST)
Proficient with middleware tools such as Workato, Boomi, Fivetran
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently with Finance and IT teams
Workday Pro Integrations certification is a big plus
Exceptional attention to detail
Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices. This position is eligible for total compensation including a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long‑term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between $93,000 and $139,000.
