Akkodis is seeking a Java developer for a Contract with a client in Las Vegas, NV. You will design and build high-performing RESTful services and microservices using Java 1.8 and Spring Boot.
Rate Range:
$49/hour to $50/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Java developer job responsibilities include:
Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java 1.8 and Spring Boot for high‑performing applications.
Collaborate with front‑end teams to build end‑to‑end systems, ensuring responsive web design with HTML5/CSS3 and React.
Write clean, maintainable code with unit test coverage, and debug issues efficiently to deliver defect‑free solutions.
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, message queues, and data handling for scalable application performance.
Analyze existing code and implement improvements, driving optimization and reliability in high‑traffic environments.
Manage code repositories in Git and participate in Agile development processes for continuous integration and delivery.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
6–8 years of experience in Java development and modern web technologies.
Strong expertise in Java 1.8, Spring Boot microservices, and building RESTful APIs.
Hands‑on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, React framework, and responsive web design using HTML5/CSS3.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $50.00 per hour
