Key Responsibilities

Thermal Load System Architecture

Lead the design or retrofit of complete data center infrastructures—from transformer to server.

Define high‑level system architecture for energy supply, thermal management, and platform integration.

Design air‑ and liquid‑cooled thermal systems, including full P&IDs with temperature levels, flow rates, and piping dimensions.

Specify system‑level requirements for simulation and performance modeling teams.

Produce clear, detailed diagrams and technical illustrations to communicate infrastructure concepts.

Provide visual documentation to support internal teams and external stakeholders.

Serve as the technical liaison between customers and product teams.

Translate customer needs into tailored, high‑efficiency system designs.

Drive advancements in thermal and energy system design with a focus on sustainability.

Partner with the IP team to document and protect innovative solutions.

Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.

The range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000.

What We're Looking For Background & Skills We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong foundation in

system architecture

and a proven track record in

data center planning, execution, and optimization . You should be able to design robust infrastructures for both new builds and retrofits, transforming complex technical requirements into practical, customer‑focused solutions—while driving innovation and enhancing performance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Plant Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (with experience in Thermal Engineering), Energy Engineering, Energy Plant Engineering, or a related field (required).

Master’s degree or higher in one of these fields (preferred).

Experience

Minimum 8 years of professional experience in system architecture, ideally in data center thermal management or related areas.

Proven expertise in air‑and liquid‑cooled systems.

Familiarity with current trends and challenges in data center thermal management; large‑scale data center experience is a plus.

Technical Skills

System Architecture Expertise – Skilled in designing and optimizing data center systems, with a focus on thermal management for both air‑ and liquid‑cooled environments.

Engineering Tools – Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; solid understanding of simulation environments.

Component Selection & Calculation – Ability to select, size, and optimize components to meet performance, efficiency, and scalability targets.

Core Competencies

Analytical & Problem‑Solving – Strong ability to address complex infrastructure challenges and deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Customer‑Centric Communication – Excellent written and verbal skills; able to translate customer needs into clear technical specifications and designs.

Innovation & IP Development – Creative mindset with experience in developing novel solutions; familiarity with intellectual property protection processes is an advantage.
