Job Description
The State of Ohio – Department of Public Safety (ODPS) is seeking an experienced .NET Programmer 5 (PR5) for a 100% onsite role in Columbus, OH. The selected consultant will work closely with IT supervisors, project managers, business analysts, QA teams, and developers in an Agile development environment.
The consultant will be responsible for new application development and/or modernization of legacy systems into .NET-based solutions while adhering to ODPS coding standards and N-tier architecture principles.
Responsibilities Gather and analyze technical and business requirements
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support .NET applications
Rewrite and modernize legacy applications into .NET solutions
Develop applications using C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, Windows Forms, and SQL Server
Implement N-tier architecture and secure SOA/WCF services
Create presentations, demos, and technical documentation
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams
Collaborate across cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
