CRD Careers (Independent Recruiters), Orlando, Oklahoma, United States, 73073
Company Description
CRD Careers is a boutique recruitment agency specializing in Sales and HR placements.
We connect growth-minded companies with high-impact professionals who drive real results. Whether you’re building a team or building a career, our approach is precise, people-first, and built for long-term success.
We don’t do buzzwords—we do outcomes.
Job Description
This role owns the inventory planning and procurement decision-making that keeps the organization running smoothly. The focus is ensuring the right materials are available at the right time — without tying up capital in excess stock. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and comfortable translating operational realities into clear, data-backed inventory strategies.
This is
not
a logistics-heavy or sourcing-heavy role. The core work centers on usage analysis, lead-time management, and building the logic that drives smart replenishment.
Inventory Strategy & Ownership
Owns the full inventory strategy:
what to stock, how much, and when to reorder
Builds and maintains
reorder point logic
using historical usage, variability, and real-world lead times
Sets and adjusts
safety stock and replenishment parameters
to balance service levels and working capital
Identifies inventory risk (stockouts vs. overstock) and takes corrective action quickly
Cross-Functional Partnership
Partners with internal teams to translate operational needs into actionable stocking plans
Communicates inventory decisions clearly and proactively to stakeholders
Qualifications What You Bring
5 years in supply chain, procurement, or materials management
Manufacturing or industrial environment experience (required)
Strong ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Proven vendor negotiation and cost-control experience
Experience managing 500 SKUs
Detail-oriented, decisive, and operationally grounded
Additional Information Additional Exposure
Light logistics exposure (e.g., inbound carriers) is helpful but not core to the role
People leadership is a plus but — this can sit at a lead level without direct reports
