Director, National Case Management Network, Homeless Veteran Program The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is seeking an experienced Director to assist in all matters related to our National Case Management team. Applicants must be well organized, able to multitask in a timely fashion, possess a keen attention to detail, be able to prioritize workload, and handle sensitive information.

Base Pay Range: $90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise, team-build, coach, and train management staff to provide exemplary services to homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless Veterans and Veteran families.

Develop core competencies in overall leadership skills and clinical evidence-based practices. Provide expertise and coaching in evidence-based and other best practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Progressive engagement, Harm Reduction, and trauma-informed care.

Participate and lead programming/clinical supervision, case conferences, staff meetings, and trainings.

Ensure accuracy of and timely completion of required case documentation.

Ensure that housing stability plans are being followed and that community resources are being provided.

Ensure Associate Directors are providing guidance to case managers to meet overall program policies and data quality requirements.

Review and audit case records that are entered into the electronic case management system to ensure they adhere to documentation and data standards, along with eligibility requirements.

Review financial assistance requests from staff and facilitate the payment process with the Finance Department.

Monitor outcomes and data collection for Veteran inquiries, closed cases, Veterans placed in housing, prevention of Veteran homelessness, linkages to employment and benefits, and overall stability and rehabilitation of Veterans served.

Coordinate and maintain data on business relationships with other local, national, and Tunnel to Towers affiliate organizations in the development of providing Veteran resources and ongoing referral networks.

Track referrals and build new collaborative partnerships with VA officers, Departments of Homeless Services, Department of Veteran Services, local Continuums of Care, Coordinated entry point staff, and other community providers to coordinate referrals and service delivery.

Identify knowledge gaps among team members. Forecast potential problems and present solutions.

Work closely with employment teams to ensure that Veterans are provided with viable workforce opportunities and job developments to increase/gain income.

Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of new employees.

Complete and maintain all required internal and external reports.

Carry out other duties as assigned by the Associate Vice President.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Human Services with at least 3-5 years of managerial experience.

Must have experience working in homelessness, substance abuse, mental health, and/or trauma settings (supervisory and/or management experience preferred).

Experience working with Veterans or other homeless populations preferred.

Knowledge of VA, HRA, Social Security, and other public benefits and housing vouchers, highly preferred.

Must possess superior leadership, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and multitask in a timely fashion.

Proficient in Microsoft Office/ Google Suite (or equivalent).
