Shift:

Monday – Friday, days‑only schedule (Mon‑Fri)

Hartford HealthCare, the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Connecticut, offers a new opportunity for a Hybrid Advanced Practitioner in Surgical Oncology. Join our growing team to provide both outpatient and inpatient care, along with surgical assistance for patients undergoing cancer treatment. This position is located at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT, where we offer high‑quality, holistic care for endocrine surgery, melanoma, and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery.

Key Highlights

Patient assessment and evaluation: Conduct comprehensive pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑operative assessments for patients undergoing surgical oncology procedures. Analyze patient data, including medical history, diagnostic test results, and physical examination findings. (On‑call responsibilities may be included on a rotating basis.)

Work schedule: Monday through Friday, days‑only schedule.

Qualifications

Eligibility to be licensed as NP or Physician Assistant (PA) in Connecticut.

Certification as an NP or PA is required.

Experience with surgical patients outside of oncology may be considered.
