Position Overview
HumanEdge is seeking an experienced
Travel Ultrasound Technologist
for a hospital in
Key West, Florida . The Ultrasound Tech will provide diagnostic imaging services for both inpatients and outpatients, including OB, vascular, and general ultrasound procedures, following established departmental protocols.
Responsibilities
Perform
abdominal, pelvic (gynecologic & obstetric), transvaginal, and small parts
(thyroid, breast, scrotum) sonograms
Conduct
ultrasound-guided procedures
including biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate imaging and diagnosis
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Respond to on-call imaging requests 2–3 nights per week as scheduled
Requirements
RDMS (R) and Vascular (RVT) certification
– Required
BLS (AHA)
– Required
Minimum
1 year ultrasound experience
– Required
OB experience – Required
Graduate of an AMA-accredited sonography program
Strong technical and patient care skills
Ability to work scheduled on-call nights
