Qualifications
ADN or higher degree in nursing
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred
ACLS certification preferred
Ability to function effectively under stress
Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skill
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
Rapidly assess a patient’s conditions, including vital signs and other physiological parameters, and intervene with the appropriate care
Monitor and provide care to patients with critically ill, unstable, and/or life‑threatening conditions
Manage various life‑support systems like ventilation and heart‑monitoring
Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations
Administer medications and other treatments
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and their families about the patient’s condition and care plan
