Position Purpose In the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides inpatient care for adult patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions requiring intensive therapy.

Shift 12 Hour Day Shift

What You Will Do

Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management interventions as prescribed and monitor for complications, infections, or changes in condition, responding appropriately to emergencies.

Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote functional independence.

Minimum Qualifications Required

Graduation from an accredited nursing school

Valid RN license in Connecticut

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

The ideal candidate will have two or more years of rehabilitation, orthopedic, or med‑surg nursing in an acute inpatient setting.

BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Full Time: 36 hrs/week – Day Shift

Rotating Weekend / Every other Holiday
