Associate Director – SAP, Data & Cyber
Harrington Boyd is working with an international client searching for a Senior SAP SCM Consultant to join their team in Germany. This position will largely be based remotely with very rare travel, requiring a valid driving licence for mobility.
Responsibilities
Deliver high‑quality consulting and project support to international clients in the areas of Production Planning and Supply Chain Planning
Work closely with business stakeholders to analyse planning processes, identify optimisation opportunities, and translate requirements into SAP PP/DS and IBP solutions
Lead the configuration, customization, and implementation of SAP PP, PP/DS, and Supply Chain Planning modules (including IBP for Demand, Supply, and S&OP)
Facilitate workshops, blueprinting sessions, and training for key users and planning teams to ensure successful adoption of new planning processes and tools
Qualifications
At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in SAP Production Planning and/or Supply Chain Planning (PP, PP/DS, IBP, APO)
Strong experience delivering end‑to‑end planning solutions, including configuration, integration, and process design
Deep understanding of core planning processes such as demand planning, supply planning, finite scheduling, MRP/MRP Live, capacity planning, and order sequencing
Experience with S/4HANA (including embedded PP/DS) is highly desirable
Industry experience in Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Retail, Pharmaceutical, or Consulting environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex planning concepts into clear business language
Fluency in German and English is essential
