The Job We’re seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and results-driven Senior Account Executive to lead growth across private equity (upper mid-market, large/mega-cap, growth, and buyout strategies), credit, and venture capital. This strategic role is responsible for accelerating revenue within this vertical, balancing near-term sales execution with long-term expansion planning. The ideal candidate will help shape the go-to-market approach while owning KPIs and driving a bottom-up sales strategy. This is a high-impact opportunity to join a fast-growing company with product-market fit and significant greenfield potential (while we already partner with many of the largest PE & VC firms in the world, the broader market includes thousands more). The person in this role will play a key part in unlocking that opportunity and driving the next phase of our company’s growth and success. Your Main Tasks As an early team member at a fast-moving startup, this role is a launchpad. You’ll have full ownership to shape and evolve it based on what drives impact. We’re looking for someone who moves with urgency and collaborates closely with senior leadership to build repeatable motions. Deeply understand private equity and venture capital needs and use cases - and how our product transforms their workflows and decision-making by an order of magnitude Own and manage the full sales cycle - from prospecting to closing Drive new revenue growth by meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets Develop and execute a bottom-up outbound strategy, leveraging data, insights, and creativity to open new doors Lead sales conversations and product demos, clearly articulating the value of proprietary data solutions to sophisticated investors Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, MDs, associates, senior associates, and C-level decision-makers Collaborate with marketing and leadership to refine messaging, target segments, and improve GTM strategies Track pipeline activity, forecast revenue, and report on KPIs using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot). Continuously gather market intelligence and client feedback to inform product development and positioning Act as a strategic partner to clients, ensuring long-term value and identifying opportunities for expansion and upselling Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, with a focus on private equity, venture capital, and credit teams (private markets) Established network of mid-market, large/mega-cap, growth, buyout, credit, and venture teams Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, particularly with high ACV deals Experience selling complex solutions, such as proprietary data, research platforms, or financial technology products Strong familiarity with private equity and venture capital workflows, including how associates, MDs, and partners evaluate investment decisions Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders Proficiency in CRM and sales tools, particularly HubSpot (or similar platforms) Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment You’re Probably a Match If You have a passion for sales and networking You think strategically and outside the box for initial/growth opportunities You have prior experience in fast-paced environments You are willing to learn and adapt, as well as dream big You are biased towards action and resourceful What to expect working here You will be held accountable to an exceptionally high bar and impact This may be the fastest work environment you will ever experience in terms of growth, decision-making, and time to impact A highly autonomous environment You’ll be guided by highly accomplished professionals with deep experience in technology, financial services, and market research You’ll have an opportunity to be a part of a small, early team that’s shaping the direction of a multi-billion-dollar alternative data and market research industry You will experience transparency, integrity, and humility from leadership You’ll have space to experiment & innovate You get to be a part of a winning team Our culture thrives on dynamic collaboration, where dedication to our work is matched only by our passion for fostering an enjoyable, fun atmosphere What we offer Competitive salary, commissions, accelerated commissions, and an equity stake in the company Flexible paid time off in addition to paid holidays throughout the year Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in, 2 days out); location NYC Interested in this job?
