Responsible for project support and technical direction of the mechanical effort in Oil & Gas projects including:
Compressor Stations Meter Stations Pump Stations Natural Gas Processing Plants Central Gathering Facilities CO2 Capture Pipeline Installation
Work directly with fellow members of the mechanical engineering team and mechanical design team for project execution support. Ability to travel to support field work activities including site commissioning. Provide input and oversight of company standards. Review and preparation of line lists and equipment lists. Review of project isometrics to ensure compliance with client requirements. Effectively communicate within the project team to resolve project issues. Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering team for successful project execution while continuing to learn and develop. Collaborate with Project Managers for successful project execution while maintaining an in-depth understanding of project scope, schedule and budget. Qualifications
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program is required. PE license preferred. 7 years or more of industry experience in midstream and/or upstream. Experience in design of mechanical engineering systems for non-commercial heavy industrial plants with a focus on integrated, detailed system design for new plants, modifications or replacements; includes selection of equipment, piping materials, control philosophy and preparation of supporting calculations and specifications. Proficient knowledge of Mechanical Equipment and Piping systems. Knowledge of ANSI/ASTM B31.4, B31.3 and B31.8 Standards. Customer service oriented with passion for high customer satisfaction and achieving project execution excellence. Knowledge of gas plants and gas processing preferred. Ability to interact with all levels of staff including senior management, clients and other disciplines. Ability to analyze, define and solve problems. Ability to prioritize workflow, multitask, meet deadlines and remain flexible. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Benefits
