Role Overview We are seeking an experienced
Senior AWS Data Architect
to design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-based data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. This is a
100% onsite role in Neenah, Wisconsin
, and the selected candidate must be willing to
relocate and work onsite from Day 1
. This is
not a travel-based role .
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement end-to-end data architectures on AWS, including:
Data Lakes
Data Warehouses
Streaming and real-time data solutions
Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines.
Lead data modeling efforts for structured and unstructured data.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS-native and third-party tools.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and engineering teams.
Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Optimize performance, cost, and scalability of AWS data solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in data engineering and data architecture.
Strong hands‑on experience with
AWS services , including but not limited to:
S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena
EMR, Lambda, Step Functions
Kinesis, MSK (Kafka)
Strong experience with data modeling (dimensional, star/snowflake schemas).
Experience building large-scale data lakes and data warehouses.
Proficiency with SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
Experience with ETL tools and big data ecosystems.
Strong understanding of data security, IAM, and compliance in AWS.
Nice to Have
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect / Data Specialty).
Experience with real-time/streaming data architectures.
Experience working in onsite, enterprise environments.
Location Requirements
Must be
willing to relocate to Neenah, WI .
Must be
onsite from Day 1
(no remote or travel arrangement).
