Base pay range $55.00/hr - $65.00/hr
Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Jersey City, NJ that is seeking a PL/SQL Developer.
Requirements
8+ years of hands‑on experience as a Oracle PL/SQL Developer
5+ years of experience working in the financial industry is a plus
Strong RDBMS skills – SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, user privileges, object privileges, etc.
Strong data analysis, problem‑solving, and design skills with a desire to continually learn and grow in a collaborative team environment
Has performed performance tuning of stored procedures and queries
Knows ETL processes to load large volumes of data at speed, e.g. SQL Loader, etc.
Has experience in a Linux environment and knows basic Unix commands
Experience working with a team in Agile methodology
Experience in database modeling
Strong data analysis skills, design, and coding experience in the financial industry, preferably in capital markets/securities finance
Understands glossaries and terminologies in the financial industry
Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams
Motivated and able to deliver end‑to‑end solutions
Good communication skills to both technology folks and business partners
Quick learner, adaptable, and has the right attitude to work across teams to find and deploy solutions
Knowledge of Core Java, Python, scheduling tools like Control‑M is nice to have
AWS Cloud experience is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
