This position is within the Division of Epidemiology’s

Program for Addiction Research, Clinical Care, Knowledge and Advocacy (PARCKA) . PARCKA is an interdisciplinary team aiming to improve the lives of those affected by substance use. This position is part-time (up to 20 hours per week) and generally on-site at our office in Research Park on the University of Utah campus. This position is currently funded for the spring semester, with the possibility of extension through the summer semester. Key Responsibilities

Proactively contact enrolled participants at designated time points and complete structured assessments over the phone. Maintain study blinding to participants’ randomized arm. Accurately document interactions and ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements. Obtain a notary license if required and notarize study‑related forms. Travel to a variety of sites both within and outside the University campus to obtain data. Evaluate questionnaires for accuracy and completeness, review against source documents, and edit as needed. Contact study participants by phone to verify data. Conduct safety and mental‑health screenings with study participants and complete all required documentation and follow‑up procedures. Qualifications

Current University of Utah graduate student. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to protocol requirements. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and REDCap preferred. Comfortable discussing medical and mental‑health conditions with participants and responding with professionalism and sensitivity.
