This role partners with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders, but takes day‑to‑day direction, priorities, and quality standards from the Instructional eLearning Designer. The eLearning Developer supports visual learning by integrating animations (motion graphics clips, animated diagrams, and in‑tool animations) into eLearning experiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop eLearning modules in Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise) and Adobe Captivate from approved storyboards and design specifications.
Build interactive learning experiences (scenarios, branching, simulations, and knowledge checks) aligned to defined learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
Integrate animation assets (e.g., MP4/GIF outputs, animated diagrams, motion‑based callouts) to improve clarity, retention, and show‑versus‑tell learning.
Create lightweight in‑tool animations using Storyline/Rise capabilities (timelines, states, triggers, and motion paths) when appropriate.
Package, publish, and troubleshoot SCORM 1.2 / SCORM 2004 (2nd/4th) and AICC/AICC Wrapper content for SAP SuccessFactors learning.
Maintain and improve reusable templates, interaction libraries, and development standards (navigation, variables logic, file naming, and publishing profiles).
Participate in project planning through providing build estimates, risks, and recommended development approaches.
Manage version control and source files; implement edits and updates based on consolidated feedback coordinated by the Instructional eLearning Designer.
Support deployment readiness in coordination with the LMS Manager, including launch testing and reporting considerations.
