Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Columbus Area for a Health Information System Specialist. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining health information systems, providing technical support to staff, ensuring seamless integration of data and systems, and analyzing information to improve functionality and efficiency. The specialist will collaborate closely with various departments to support effective application and utilization of health information technology across the organization.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Information Systems and familiarity with Information Technology frameworks

Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating and improving system functionalities

Experience with providing Technical Support to troubleshoot system issues

Knowledge of Databases, including management and data integrity practices

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered

Prior experience in a healthcare setting or working with health information systems is an advantage

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to on-site workflows
