Contract Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced L3 Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Plano, TX. This role requires deep hands‑on expertise in Active Directory, Exchange, PowerShell automation, and Microsoft 365 / Office 365, with proven experience supporting enterprise‑scale environments. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently handling complex production issues, participating in migrations, and serving as a senior escalation point for Microsoft infrastructure services. Required Skills & Qualifications
10‑12 years of experience in Microsoft infrastructure support Strong L3 expertise in Active Directory (architecture, GPOs, trusts, replication, DNS) Strong L3 expertise in Exchange (Exchange Online, On‑Prem, Hybrid) Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration Proven experience with Office 365 / Exchange migrations Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills Experience supporting large enterprise environments (thousands of users) Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills Excellent communication and documentation skills Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Azure AD Connect MFA and Conditional Access Intune / Endpoint Manager Microsoft security and compliance tools (DLP, retention, auditing) ITIL‑based incident and problem management experience Key Responsibilities
Provide L3‑level support for Microsoft infrastructure services, including Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 Troubleshoot and resolve complex, high‑impact production issues independently Design, implement, and support Active Directory architecture, including domains, forests, trusts, GPOs, DNS, and replication Support and manage Exchange environments (On‑Prem, Online, and Hybrid) Lead or strongly support Office 365 / Exchange migration projects, including planning, execution, and post‑migration support Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and operational efficiency Support Azure AD (Entra ID), identity synchronization, and access management Collaborate with security, network, and application teams to ensure system stability and compliance Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures Participate in change management, incident response, and root cause analysis activities Equal Employment Opportunity: All qualified applicants, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status, are encouraged to apply.
