Description In this role, the selected candidate will be instrumental in the design of water and wastewater systems, including the civil aspects of water/wastewater design projects such as piping, pump stations, pipelines, site layouts, and treatment process equipment. Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment processes and technologies is required.
Job Summary The Designer II – Engineering role is responsible for independently performing the design throughout all phases of multiple simultaneous projects, developing technical aspects throughout all phases of a project.
Job Responsibilities
Provide technical detailing for selected projects.
Assist with the production of technical drawings.
Collaborate with engineers and teams to translate design concepts.
Assist with site investigations and observations.
Attend client meetings and communicate with clients.
Assist with preparation of proposals, reports, and findings.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements Required Education & Experience
Associate’s degree required.
3-5 years of experience.
Preferred Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proficiency in computer software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.
Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills.
Positive attitude and commitment to being an active participant working as part of a multi-design discipline team.
