Akkodis is seeking a Full-Stack Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. You will design and develop scalable software solutions across the full stack, from user interfaces to server-side components, ensuring high performance and security.
Rate Range: $60/hour to $66/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Full-Stack Java Developer job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications across the full stack, including user interfaces and server-side components.
Engage with customers to understand use cases and requirements, ensuring user-centric solutions.
Create high-level software architecture designs and implement scalable, secure, and optimized applications.
Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and interactive interfaces using modern frameworks and technologies.
Implement test-driven development and CI/CD practices to ensure quality and continuous delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to process improvements and emerging technology adoption.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum 6+ years in IT and 4+ years in software development, with strong full-stack expertise.
Advanced proficiency in Java, JavaScript (React/Angular), Spring Boot, SQL/Postgres, and experience with CI/CD and test-driven development.
Hands‑on experience in AI/ML development, including building machine learning models using open‑source frameworks and deploying them in production environments.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $66.00 per hour
