Senior SAP FI-CO Consultant
for a high-value professional opportunity.

Freelance.
Duration:
Long-term freelance opportunity with 6-month renewable contracts.
Location:
International project based in Spain, but can be done 100% remote.
Language:
English (mandatory).
Job Description SENIOR SAP FI‑CO expert, supporting financial processes and collaborating closely with business stakeholders in an international industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert-level support and configuration within SAP FI‑CO.
Work with S/4HANA FI‑CO environments, supporting ongoing operations and improvements.
Manage Treasury processes, including bank communication and electronic bank statement configurations.
Configure and maintain bank file interfaces and integrations.
Support Credit Management and Controlling, including cost centers and internal orders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PS, MM, SD) and ensure proper FI integration.
Act as a trusted advisor to business users and FI managers, handling complex topics with autonomy.
Participate in analysis, issue resolution, and continuous process optimization.
Collaboration with senior stakeholders in a professional and well-structured environment.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA FI‑CO.
8+ years of experience in SAP ECC FI‑CO.
Strong expertise in Treasury, bank interfaces and payment file configuration, Credit Management, Controlling (cost centers and internal orders).
Solid understanding of FI integration with PS, MM, and SD.
Experience with Vertex or other tax integration solutions (highly valued).
Proactive and autonomous profile, capable of managing complex FI topics with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory).
