American Traveler is looking for a Travel Mammography Technologist – $2,901 per week in Edmonds, WA. This local opportunity is live since 2025-11-15 and will begin 12/01/2025 for a 13‑week assignment. Pay is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Location & Schedule
Location: Edmonds, Washington Shift: 8 hours, days (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) with occasional Saturday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities
Outpatient high‑volume mammography unit Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Procedures include 3‑D mammography, screening/diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic biopsies, fine‑needle aspirations, and needle localizations Epic EMR experience is required Floating among multiple facilities within the state is expected Conduct a variety of mammography procedures and assist with related special procedures as directed by physicians All newly assigned techs must complete 25 observed exams before working independently Adherence to Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and FDA quality control requirements is mandatory Former permanent staff must have at least a 3‑month separation before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50‑mile radius First‑time travelers are accepted RTO and special scheduling requests must be submitted up front; post‑submission requests may be declined Scrub attire is required Qualifications
Active WA state radiologic technologist license required if applicable BLS and ARRT certifications required Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required, with 2 years of full‑time mammography experience strongly preferred Proficiency in producing high quality diagnostic mammographic images and performing special breast procedures Experience working with mammography and digital processing equipment Benefits
