Job Description
Conducts gap analysis to identify organizational needs for Pathway and/or Magnet Designation.
Consults with executive and frontline teams for implementation of Pathway and Magnet elements of performance.
Manages coordination and project management of Pathway or Magnet document and submission to the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Coordinates and plans for Pathway or Magnet Survey.
Facilitates Shared Governance Committee (SGC) meetings and activities.
Advises shared governance committee on continuous implementation of Pathway and/or Magnet Program Elements of Performance.
Supports frontline teams in planning and implementing initiatives for clinical excellence.
Acts as the executive team’s liaison to frontline teams through SGC, including periodic reporting to Medical Executive Committee.
Provides expert Performance (PI) consultation to frontline teams at unit-based councils and committees.
Promotes positive outcomes, productivity, adaptability, resilience, and optimism using Orange Frog’s positive psychology techniques.
Plans and implements employee engagement and advocacy programs focused on retention.
Provides regular training courses on evidence-based Performance Improvement methodology and data-driven decision making.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s of Nursing (Required)
Master’s Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Registered Nurse (RN) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Six Sigma – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range $96,266.14 – $179,045.63
