Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8‑hour shifts

Job Description Freeway Ford is hiring an experienced Ford Automotive Service Technician to expand our service department. This is a union position offering excellent benefits, job security, and a professional shop environment. In this role, you will handle diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance with precision while staying current on Ford’s latest technologies and standards.
Responsibilities
Perform repairs and maintenance with accuracy and efficiency following Ford and dealership guidelines
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment
Test‑drive vehicles to confirm concerns and verify repairs
Document repair findings and recommendations thoroughly on repair orders
Complete warranty work to manufacturer specifications
Stay up to date with Ford training, including STARS requirements
Maintain compliance with dealership safety and operating procedures
Represent Freeway Ford professionally with a strong customer‑first attitude
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of professional automotive repair experience required
High school diploma or equivalent
ASE certifications or Ford STARS training preferred
Must own a complete set of tools and a toolbox
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
Skilled in diagnosing and repairing both mechanical and electrical systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a professional demeanor
Reliable, detail‑oriented, and motivated to grow in a fast‑paced environment
