The State of Connecticut, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing 1 to join our team. The position provides administrative and clinical management to nursing supervisors and their reporting nursing staff for an eleven-unit division serving 209 patients.
Position Highlights
Facility: Connecticut Valley Hospital (CVH)
Division: General Psychiatry Division (GPD)
Location: Middletown, CT
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Sunday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 12:00am (midnight)

Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Qualifications - General Experience
Two (2) years of experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity in a health care organization and/or facility or hospital nursing.
Note: For state employees this experience is interpreted at the level of a Supervising Nurse.
