Controller – Financial Controller

About the Position We are looking for a skilled Financial Controller to oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and internal control. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, responsive, and can handle multiple competing priorities with urgency while collaborating across the organization. Flexible in/out‑of‑office work schedule.
Responsibilities
Review and organize company accounting operations: billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cost accounting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, general ledger and treasury.
Identify and solve technical accounting issues and develop measures to optimize them.
Create and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
Prepare budgets and financial forecasts and report results to executives.
Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes.
Perform quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
Prepare regulatory reports and ensure compliance with state reporting requirements, applicable laws, and tax filings.
Generate timely monthly financial statements for executives and top managers.
Administer payroll functions.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Finance Manager or Controller.
10+ years of experience with accounting procedures and principles.
Significant experience with general ledger functions, month‑end/year‑end close, and financial statement management.
Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
