Role Description
This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Portfolio Manager based in the Denver Metropolitan Area. The Portfolio Manager will oversee portfolio construction, manage investment strategies, and execute trades to achieve client objectives. Key responsibilities will also include analyzing financial data, conducting investment research, monitoring market trends, and collaborating with the advisory team to provide tailored wealth management solutions. While in‑office work will be required, some remote work flexibility is available for this role. We are seeking a talented and motivated Portfolio Manager to join our investment team. The ideal candidate will be a CFA charter holder or actively pursuing the CFA designation, with a strong foundation in investment analysis and portfolio construction. You will be responsible for managing client portfolios, implementing investment strategies, conducting research, and collaborating with advisors to deliver exceptional client outcomes in a fiduciary environment. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement customized investment strategies and asset allocations tailored to clients’ financial goals, risk tolerance, and time horizons. Manage day‑to‑day portfolio activities, including security selection, rebalancing, trading, and performance monitoring. Conduct in‑depth research and analysis on equities, fixed income, alternatives, and other asset classes to inform investment decisions. Monitor portfolio performance, risk metrics, and market conditions; prepare detailed performance reports and attribution analysis for client reviews. Collaborate with financial advisors and clients to review portfolios, discuss market outlook, and adjust strategies as needed. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, fiduciary standards, and firm policies. Stay abreast of economic trends, market developments, and investment opportunities. Contribute to investment committee discussions and firm‑wide strategy development. Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred. CFA charter holder strongly preferred; candidates actively pursuing the CFA (Level II or III) are encouraged to apply. 3+ years of experience in portfolio management, investment analysis, or a related role at an RIA, wealth management firm, or asset management company. Strong understanding of modern portfolio theory, asset allocation, risk management, and behavioral finance. Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and tools such as Bloomberg, Morningstar, FactSet, or similar platforms. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills. Superior communication skills, with the ability to explain complex investment concepts to clients and team members. Preferred Skills
Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and fiduciary responsibility. Experience with tax‑efficient investing, ESG considerations, or concentrated position management. Familiarity with portfolio management software (e.g., Black Diamond, Orion, or Addepar). Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering strong risk‑adjusted returns.
