As a Senior Software Engineer – UI, you will primarily support and enhance existing software applications, enriching software components deployed within the Cotiviti product suite. The role requires strong collaboration with senior developers, teams in the US and India, business owners, project management, and other internal stakeholders.
Principal Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Support and enhance high‑quality software modules for the Cotiviti product suite.
Design, develop, and implement responsive, scalable UI components using Angular.
Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into interactive experiences.
Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs and backend services.
Analyze and resolve software‑related issues originating from internal or external customers.
Document specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production rollout.
Demonstrate proficient knowledge in primary discipline and growing knowledge of related disciplines.
Execute solutions to enhance performance and availability.
Communicate technical and operational issues to engineering and business leadership in a timely manner.
Ensure adherence to technology standards while developing systems.
Explore new ideas and contribute innovative solutions to improve efficiency and results.
Continuously improve and expand knowledge of new technologies selected for integration into the product suite.
Execute all appropriate facets of the Software Development Lifecycle with a desire for continuous improvement.
Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.
Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
4+ years of relevant experience.
5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
3+ years of experience developing Angular‑based applications.
3+ years of experience developing responsive web UIs.
Experience with micro‑frontends or modular UIs preferred.
Experience working with RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with Java.
Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., Oracle).
Experience with version control and release management tools.
Good written and oral communication skills.
