What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Ensure safe work practices and implement safeguards to mitigate hazards and prevent incidents
Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental regulations, and quality standards
Serve as a primary interface with Remote Operations and plant facilities to support automation and controls
Maintain and enhance SCADA systems, including graphical interfaces and alarm management
Analyze instrumentation and optimize advanced control systems
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field such as Controls and Instrumentation, Electrical, or Mechatronics
Minimum 2 years of experience in controls and/or process engineering within the lime or comparable industry
Proficiency in control disciplines, including Model Predictive Control (MPC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
Experience with Ignition by Inductive Automation and Rockwell products (PLCs, drives, sensors)
Ability to work irregular hours or provide on-call support during project implementation

Experience with advanced control systems and optimization techniques
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in manufacturing settings
