Description We seek a dedicated Lead Medication Technician (Med Tech/CMA) to provide compassionate, direct care to residents, assisting with medication administration and activities of daily living, following individualized medication and treatment plans. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to high‑quality care.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee medication administration, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Train and mentor staff on medication management best practices
Ensure breaks are taken as assigned
Collaborate with Health and Wellness Director to develop individualized care plans
Monitor residents' responses to medications, reporting any concerns
Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident care activities
Order and receive medication
Conduct audits of medication storage and handling to ensure compliance
Review medication administration records and report errors to the HWD
Provide education and support to residents and families about medication management
Assist Resident Care Coordinator with scheduling as needed
Prioritize independence and provide emotional support through engagement and companionship
Assist residents with daily medication administration, including self‑administration, per care plan
Requirements Education And Certifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid state medication administration license (CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP) or meet state requirements for medication administration in assisted living
Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain
Experience, Competencies, And Skills
At least two years of experience administering medications in a caregiving setting
Experience with memory care preferred
Excellent attention to detail and high integrity
Strong leadership, communication skills, and teamwork mindset
Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect
Willingness to participate in weekend rotations
Salary $23–$25 DOE
