About Dexcom
Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: to forever change how diabetes is managed and to unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Over 25 years, we have pioneered an industry and are now broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health through personalized, actionable insights and improving human health. We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers through integrity, big thinking, and dependability. We have already changed millions of lives and are ready to change millions more. Our ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions, constantly reinventing unique biosensing‑technology experiences. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute novel test methods, including related fixturing and equipment, to support characterization of device performance attributes with a focus on the wearable. Define and execute broad characterization strategies and test plans to measure material, component, subsystem, and system level performance across the entire product design lifecycle. Perform extensive data analysis using engineering statistics best practices to drive data‑based decisions. Collaborate with advanced research, materials engineering, design verification, and operations teams to create and mature measurement systems and methodologies for characterizing, verifying, and validating Dexcom products. Work with cross‑functional partners such as process development, design verification, packaging, sterilization, and operations to mitigate challenging technical problems via testing solutions. Drive workstreams independently, compile and analyze data for readouts, and effectively communicate results and findings to functional leadership and program stakeholders. Qualifications
Extensive test development experience (fixture design, programming, test procedure and protocol development) and characterization experience, preferably in the medical device industry. Depth of knowledge in mechanical‑based, multi‑disciplinary products and technologies with background in related testing and metrology tools (e.g., injection‑molded plastics, adhesives, coatings). Strong data analysis skills in software such as JMP and ability to design experiments, run MSA for test method repeatability and reproducibility. Proven product development experience translating high‑level product requirements into technical requirements with applicable test methods. Hands‑on experience and familiarity with various laboratory and measurement equipment, adept at leveraging tools to characterize parts and products.
