Material Handler (Flex Shift) - ONeal Steel / Mobile, AL
O'Neal Steel has an opening for a Flex Shift Material Handler at our Mobile, AL facility.
Responsibilities
Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment.
Operate a wide variety of material handling equipment, including forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.
Set up and operate processing equipment such as burning, band saws, plate roll forming, and digibender.
Read, interpret, and follow work instructions and blueprints.
Use measuring tools such as tape measure, box caliper, slide dial caliper, and micrometer.
Convert fractions to decimals and vice versa, add and subtract fractions and decimals.
Provide high-quality work to all internal and external customers.
Training & Schedule Must work 1st shift for training (Mon-Fri 6 AM-2 PM) and then work a flex schedule, with overtime as needed.
Requirements
Pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Licenses & Certifications (Preferred): Driver’s License, forklift certification, overhead crane certification.
Experience operating a range of material handling equipment, setting up processing equipment, using measuring tools, and reading work instructions and blueprints.
