Title: Placement Coordinator
Reports to: Senior Director of Customer Experience & Data Solutions
Status: Non Exempt, Full Time, 35 Hours (Remote)
Pay Grade: 4

About the Role The Placement Coordinator is responsible for converting leads into registered members, increasing participation, and developing community partnerships to implement Girl Scouting within an assigned area and team.
Other key responsibilities include:
Guide potential members through the Salesforce pipeline and waitlists via phone, email, etc.
Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity.
Coordinate placement of registered girls into appropriate troops.
Coordinate placement of adults into volunteer roles.
Implement calls to lapsed members in conjunction with campaigns.
Maintain opportunity catalog and report gaps to stakeholders.
Assist adults through the Criminal Background Check process.
Prepare reports and assess gaps, communicating needs of each community.
Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives for recruitment strategies.
Support marketing of initiatives to members.
Provide high‑level customer service, responding to calls and emails within 8 business hours.
Oversee Troop Failed to Start process to give displaced families another chance.
Engage cross‑departmentally via the Community Action Network.
Deliver the Girl Scout message of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Participate in environments fostering inclusion.
Perform other duties as necessary.

Customer Responsiveness – prioritize and balance customer issues, respond timely, and pursue continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience with four years of directly related work and at least two years of managerial experience.
Experience in membership development, recruitment, and/or retention.
Strong computer and data entry skills – Microsoft Office proficiency.
Experience in data management using sales/customer management systems.
Software: Salesforce preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Travel throughout council jurisdiction up to 20% of the time.
Own transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Must hold membership in the Girl Scout organization and subscribe to the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
Must complete a criminal background check.
Physical demands: sit at a workstation up to 2 hours, view screen up to 2 hours.
