As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping Receiving Clerk. As a vital member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining efficient operations.

Responsibilities

Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing lists, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.

Accurately record all incoming and outgoing shipments.

Prepare and package items for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and adherence to shipping regulations and requirements.

Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.

Track and monitor shipment status, providing updates to relevant stakeholders.

Inspect outbound shipments for accuracy, completeness, and quality control.

Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular stock counts, and reconciling any discrepancies.

Organize and maintain the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and storage of materials.

Collaborate with the procurement team to coordinate stock replenishment and manage backorders.

Generate and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.

Prepare and submit reports on shipping activities, including shipment volume, delivery performance, and any operational issues.

Collaborate with internal departments, including sales, customer service, and warehouse teams, to coordinate shipping and receiving activities.

Communicate with external stakeholders, such as carriers and suppliers, to resolve any issues or inquiries related to shipments.

Assist in resolving any customer or supplier concerns related to shipping and receiving.

Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.

Stay updated on shipping regulations, industry standards, and best practices to ensure compliance.

Other duties as assigned.
