Job Details Job Title: Custodian/Maintenance Work Schedule: 6:30am – 3:00pm Calendar Length: Year round Salary/Hourly Rate: $21.14/hr ($43,971 annually)

Responsibilities
The proper operation of all mechanical equipment.
The routine servicing, oiling, and minor repair of all equipment.
Replace lighting as necessary throughout the building.
Maintain plumbing systems, including restroom faucets, urinals, and water coolers.
Prepare grounds for winter conditions including salting and plowing of snow.
Inform the Custodial Manager of any repairs that may require assistance from the District Maintenance Department.
Continually inspect floors, walls, windows, furniture, equipment, rest-rooms, fans, roof, roof drains, grounds, and outside equipment to ensure the school plant is properly cleaned, maintained, and in good working order.
Perform custodial duties or grounds‑keeping duties as assigned, such as regular custodial cleaning, event set‑ups, and maintenance or repair of outside equipment on school grounds.
Serve as Custodial Lead in the absence of the Custodial Manager.
Carry out a variety of work assignments as directed by the Custodial Manager, District Maintenance, or Principal.
Respond to staff requests via radio when the custodial manager is unavailable.
Other duties as assigned.

Work efficiently and effectively at a fast pace while maintaining good attendance.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, administrators, staff, and outside and public agencies.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
